SPACE SUMMIT



India has made great strides in Space technology and application through its Indian Space Programme. In the 97th session, space technology and applications find a major agenda in the programme, with focus on space activities and its benefits to society and also the future vision of space technology and applications. Space is an integrating technology and its applications transcend boundaries and bring benefit to almost every individual. Human kind has been driven by the quest for knowledge of our planetary system, galaxies and stars and space evokes a challenge and adventure to humankind. The world community must be prepared to the future challenges and excitement of space technology and also the increasing benefit to society from its applications.

 

Hence, the half-a-day Space Summit will be a unique of its kind in the 97th session of the Indian Science Congress.
