YOUNG
SCIENTISTS AWARD PROGRAMME
The process of
selection for the Young Scientists Programme, below the age of 32 years, has
undergone a change, from 2007 - the applications for this programme have to
be submitted by May 31, 2009. These will be scrutinized by the experts in
the respective fields. On the basis of the reports of referees, maximum of
six young scientists in each section will be invited to present their
research work during the meeting of the council of ISCA to be held at
Thiruvanathapuram. The experts will evaluate the depth of the subject and
the presentation of the paper following which maximum fourteen awardees will
be selected. The award carrying a cash amount of Rs.25,000 and a Certificate
of Merit will be given during 97th Indian Science Congress to be held at
Thiruvanathapuram, Kerala.
